Awards & Recognitions

  • This  award  may  be  presented  to  a  professional,  student,  or   organization  member  of  the  association  who  has  made  significant  contributions  to  furthering   the  purposes  of  the  association.

  • The School Health Educator of the Year Award is presented to a school health educator member of ISHA who has contributed significantly to school health education or has made an impact on the health needs of Illinois children and youth.

  • The Honor Award is presented to a member of ISHA who has made significant contributions in the development of comprehensive school health in Illinois or serving the health needs of Illinois youth.

  • The Presidential Citation is presented to individuals and organizations who have made significant contributions in the development of comprehensive school health programs in Illinois or who have been exemplary in serving the health needs of Illinois youth.

  • The Lifetime Achievement Award is presented to those special members of ISHA who have impacted the life of the association throughout their careers.
